Bursa Malaysia Berhad ("Bursa") is pleased to announce that it has received approval from the Securities Commission to reduce its fees for derivatives products with effect from 1 April 2007 which encompass the following:-
(1) trading and clearing fees;
(2) local rebated fees for financial derivatives; and
(3) collateral fees for cash and shares lodged by clearing participants.
The revised fees are set out in the attached Table 1, Table 2 and Table 3 respectively.
The reduction of the above fees will not have any material impact on the earnings of Bursa.
